    Chief Nursing Officer

    Amanda Butler joined Turning Point Psychiatry as the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Amanda was an asset in the start-up of Turning Point Psychiatry.  She is the primary spokesperson for coordinating all of the daily operations. On the executive management team, she cultivates an environment in which excellence, compassion, and individualized care is achieved. She oversee consistency in the organization’s practice standards.

    Amanda obtained an Associate Degree of Nursing in 2015. She holds a RN license in Pennsylvania, Train the Educator Instructor Certificate from Pennsylvania Department of Education, and American Heart Association CPR Instructor Certificate. Amanda also serves on the advisory board at Mercy Technical High School in Philadelphia.

    Amanda received a Bachelor of Animal Sciences with a business option from Pennsylvania State University prior to her nursing education. Amanda’s animal science background has led her into volunteer work in pet therapy, which ultimately led her to a healthcare career. Her interest in technology cultivates innovative approaches to provide an interactive learning experience.

    Amanda continues to pursue higher education in a graduate nursing program at Grand Canyon University. She will complete her master’s in nursing education in 2022. Amanda has a special interest in leadership and education and hopes to empower patients through her own personal experiences and education.
