Anthony is a Dual-Licensed Master Social Worker and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. Anthony completed his Master’s degree in Social Work at the University Of Houston Graduate College Of Social Work. Anthony also earned his Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at University Of Houston Downtown. Anthony has served adults, adolescents and families who suffer with a variety of mental health illnesses while working at Woodland Springs, IntraCare North and Cypress Creek hospitals. Anthony has over 15 years experience treating individuals with substance abuse and patients that are dually diagnosed at Memorial Hermann Prevention and Recovery Center and Palmer Drug Abuse Program. In addition Anthony is a Certified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), Certified Anger Resolution Therapist (CART) and a Certified Christian Counselor. Anthony uses various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Anthony utilizes a strength based, person-centered approach to guide his practice. Anthony focuses on improving and enhancing the emotional stability, social well-being, spiritual fitness and physical health of individuals and families. Anthony is passionate about supporting the overall growth, and empowerment of others.
